Valuable News – 2020/11/02

The Valuable News weekly series is dedicated to provide summary about news, articles and other interesting stuff mostly but not always related to the UNIX or BSD systems. Whenever I stumble upon something worth mentioning on the Internet I just put it here.

Today the amount information that we get using various information streams is at massive overload. Thus one needs to focus only on what is important without the need to grep(1) the Internet everyday. Hence the idea of providing such information ‘bulk’ as I already do that grep(1).

Pytanko. Wiesz może jak zaktualizować jaile do nowej wersji w Bastille, bo przyznam, że nie bardzo rozumiem?
Miałem wersję FreeBSD 12.1, w nim jaile stworzone poprzez Bastille. Zaktualizowałem system do 12.2 i chcę zaktualizować jaile też do 12.2.
    Jak wywoΕ‚am bastille upgrade 12.1-RELEASE 12.2-RELEASE to dostajΔ™ komunikat:

    # bastille upgrade 12.1-RELEASE 12.2-RELEASE
    src component not installed, skipped
freebsd-update: Cannot upgrade from 12.2-RELEASE to itself

Jedyna rzecz jaka mi przychodzi do głowy to bastille bootstrap 12.2-RELEASE i potem w pliku fstab każego jaila zmienić nullfs aby wskazywał na 12.2

Mam wraΕΌenie, ΕΌe komendy update i upgrade prΓ³bujΔ… aktualizowaΔ‡ hosta, a nie base jaila…
        Dzięki, spróbuje spytać u źródła.
